Mary Antoniette Mansuetti, 90, died Jan. 21, 2010, in Arvada. Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, at Tennant Funeral Home with Vigil and Rosary Service to follow at 5 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with the Rev. Ms. Mansuetti was born July 6, 1919, to Antonio and Domenica (Bau) Mansuetti in Mileacomer, Iowa. In March 1923, her family moved to a farm in Sterling. She attended school in the nearby communities of Iliff and Padroni. One of her first jobs was with the Cudahy Produce Plant. From 1949 to 1952, she worked as a cook at St. Benedicts Hospital. She later served as a clerk and eff grader for Plains Poultry, grading poultry to ensure its quality. She also worked for Method Cleaners, Sterling Heights Nursing Home and, finally, Miller Western. She retired in 1984 at age 65.

Ms. Mansuetti loved to cook, and everyone especially enjoyed the cookies she baked. She often visited her niece in Denver to spend time with her family, shop, sew and share stories and laughter. Ms. Mansuetti spent her final years at Colorado Lutheran home in Arvada, near her sister, Anne Fricke.

She is survived by her sister, Anne, as well as many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Anthony School Endowment Fund.
