Diana Lynn Moe, 55, of Atwood, died Jan. 22, 2010, in Atwood. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 26, at Tennant Funeral Home with Rev. Derek DeToni Hill officiating. Inurnment will take place at Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
Mrs. Moe was born Sept. 16, 1954, in Sterling, to Frank M. Welsh Sr., and Regina Verlee Amen. She attended Sterling schools. Diana worked for BNSF Railroad for 14 1/2 years from June of 1979 until she was permanently injured and disabled. She enjoyed boating, being outdoors, loved being with family, cars, motorcycles and animals.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Moe; daughter, Kristen; and son, Ethan Moe, all of Atwood; brothers, Frank Welsh of Greeley, Kurt Welsh of Sterling and Jerry Kaus of Sterling; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Welsh and Regina Kaus; and grandparents, Jake and Freida Amen, Herbert and Margarete Welsh; and stepfather, Andrew Kaus.
The family suggests memorials to the Diana Moe Memorial Fund in care of Tennant Funeral Home, box 1547 Sterling, CO 80751.
